Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, 95 points: "I love this easy-to-drink 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon from McPrice Myers that well overdelivers for its price. Deep ruby-purple, it has alluring aromas of cassis, pencil shavings, dried herbs, leather and lavender, plus classy touches of oak spice. The full-bodied palate is concentrated and powerful without going over the top. It has abundant, grainy tannins, flinty streaks and plenty of refreshing acidity to carry the long finish. It's not your average chocolate bomb California Cabernet, despite its modest price tag."
‘Mac’ Myers has been a new producer on our shelves this year. You may recall my excitement (and yours) for his ‘Beautiful Earth’ red blend and ‘Right Hand Man’ syrah bottlings. This month we are rolling out his fantastic cabernet sauvignon. Once again, his wine shows full-bodied ripeness and yet steps back from the line of being overbearing. This cabernet features a solid core of creme de cassis and black plum with interesting hints of anise and geranium. Uncork this one with your first rack of BBQ ribs this season! (Gary)
